YOU ARE A BADASS. BACK TO SCHOOL READ THAT WILL KICK YOUR ***

Updated: Dec 18, 2018

A FEW YEARS AGO, MY DARLING FRIEND CANDACE – ARSE KICKING YOGA TEACHER, BLOGGER & WRITER YOU MAY FOLLOW ON YOGABYCANDACE – GAVE ME A BOOK THAT BECAME ONE OF MY FAVORITE.

You are a Badass:  a gem of funky & wise advice for spiritual junkies, with a twisted sense of humor that leaves you laughing out loud throughout pages. The best read I could recommend for your September, back from Summer time, filled with great vibes kind of mood!

Jen Sincero, best selling author by now, offers a super honest and humble approach to spiritual awareness –  sharing inspiring stories and easy exercices to identify and change many self sabotaging beliefs and behaviours – Badass is an amazing reading to look into who you are & how to change what you want to, whether it is personal relationships, self esteem or develop abundance. Nice plan.

The whole philosophy of the Book is based on the “Law of Attraction”: the idea that the Universe is made up of source energy, that so are we, and that the frequency we choose to vibrate on, based on our thoughts and desire, attract in our life the same vibrations, through people, acts, and the general course of our life.

No need to state that I am a firm believer in this Law, having experienced & played with it in extent that are definitely beyond my belief.  The beauty of Badass is that it gives easy access and information to this global awareness, with light heartedness and sharing personal and honest anecdotes that we may fully relate to.

YOUR BRAIN IS YOUR BITCH

One of my favorite chapter…  All about looking at how our thoughts may be the post powerful tools we have, as long as we train and use it in the best way we know how. Einstein himself very wisely noted that ‘the world as we have created it is a process of our thinking. It cannot be changed without changing our thinking.”

The essential idea being that you are always free to think what you want to think, regardless of reality (yes, believe it or not – reality is at the end of the day, a very relative thing)  and giving super down to earth way to make this actually happen.

When confronting ideas to the Drama of Overwhelm, Jen Sincero shares Mark Twain “I have lived a long life and had many troubles, most of which never happened”. May we all remember this the next time our mind gets over controlling?

Go & get it, and let me know your thoughts! Bad Ass by Jen Sincero

With Love,

Always.
